Twitter has been bothering me for a while. I haven't been able to decide if I think there is any benefit of it, or whether
it is just a vacuous space of narcissistic, egotistical, and intentionally esoteric nonsense. I had been curious about seeing what Stephen Fry had to say, and then,
Northampton Saints got in on the act. it seemed I may be able to get score updates more quickly on match day.... and before you could say microblogging network, I was registered.
I've spent a few days considering what to do with my account - nothing, banal indulgent waffle, some insight into my early days of fatherhood, some creative writing foray or, busy myself with some sort of micro project.
Inevitably for me, the whole idea of a project sounded good, particularly with my time so constrained, the idea of being able to text twitter sounded spot on. So here I am.
As of the time of writing 6:55am 20th August) I have opted to go down the route of, 'my life in lyrics' - so I will communicate about how I'm feeling, the events in my life, or just what I want to say through song lyrics. There's no point to this other than to entertain myself. You are welcome to try and guess the songs, or join in if you want (go to www.creationoverload.com for more info)
this will last as long as it will last, and then I will utilise twitter, for some other pointless meandering twittering
Cheerio - Dan :-)
